Centos plex server

Post by Sidewind75 » 2020/05/17 13:18:18

Good morning. I am new to Linux. I am trying to put a plex server on Centos 8. Everything is going fine. I have Centos8 installed and Plex server running. the issue im having is that I have a qnap nas that holds my media so i need to mount the folders i have on 2 separate raids into folders I was able to create. The folders are /nas/Movies and /nas/tv. The farthest I can get is when i do sudo mount -t cifs-o username=xxxx //160.179.1.200/share/TV /nas/tv. It then asks me for the password then comes up with this error mount error(2): no such file or directory. I can only asume i have the path to the qnap wrong but i have no idea how to find out what it is. I have used putty to SSH into my qnap and ran getcfg SHARE_DEF defVo1mp -f /etc/config/def_share.info and i get a different path but even that does not work. Please help I do not know what else to try

Thank you
