Hello,
I want to rebuild packages for CentOS Stream 8, but I found the source folder @ http://vault.centos.org/centos/8-stream ... SPackages/ and @ http://vault.centos.org/centos/8-stream ... SPackages/ are blank.
So my first question is where could get the SRPM for CentOS Stream-8?
I found CentOS8, CentOS8.1 and CentOS8 stream contains same version libraries as below:
1) glibc-2.28-72.el8.x86_64.rpm
- CentOS 8: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/8/BaseOS/ ... x86_64.rpm
- CentOS 8.1: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/8.1.1911/ ... x86_64.rpm
- CentOS Stream: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/8-stream/ ... x86_64.rpm
2) glibc-2.28-72.el8_1.1.x86_64.rpm
- CentOS 8: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/8/BaseOS/ ... x86_64.rpm
- CentOS 8.1: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/8.1.1911/ ... x86_64.rpm
- CentOS Stream: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/8-stream/ ... x86_64.rpm
My questions is whether these glibc-2.28-82.el8 or el8_1 in different CentOS repo are built from same source.....Where to get this source.
Where is CentOS Stream's source?
Re: Where is CentOS Stream's source?
I would like to know this too.
Aren't they obliged to release the SRPMS, or the code, as an obligation to the GNU/GPL terms?
I really cannot understand this behavior.
