Mounting a NTFS Hard Drive(Solved)

Post by rynpmgn » 2020/05/02 00:17:16

How do I get Centos 8 to recognise and permanently mount my NTFS hard drive?

Install the EPEL yum repository using yum --enablerepo=extras install epel-release then yum install ntfs-3g and now you can mount -t ntfs-3g
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
