Firefox and chrome has a different keyboard layout than the OS itself

Hello,

I installed Centos 8 workstation and setup the language to Portuguese. When I write on the text editor the keyboard is ok with Portuguese.
But when I use Firefox or Chrome the keyboard is in English.

Any idea?

Go to "Settings -> Region and Laguage" and remove English from input sources should help.

I have no English in Region and language

Also from Terminal:

$ localectl status
System Locale: LANG=pt_PT.UTF-8
VC Keymap: pt
X11 Layout: pt

What about in Edit->Preferences->General in firefox, it has a "Language" section of settings there.

In Firefox Language is Portuguese (Portugal)

I just reinstall everything again and it's working now.

I think the problem was, the first time I installed the system with English language, later on I switch it to Portuguese

I found what is happen.
although I have the right Region&Language correct it shows a different keyboard. If I change to another language and back to Portuguese it started working again

everytime I reboot it changes the keyboard.
It's anoying.
