Recommended Editor for Audio Files

Greetings,

I am accustomed to using Audacity but that team only supports Debian based distros. Can anyone recommend a free audio editor that can be natively installed to CentOS 8 w/ Gnome desktop? I only use a few features from Audacity and the new editor needs to have these options: Noise Reduction, Normalize, Show Clipping, Silence, and Amplify. I usually work with WAV files.

You can find audacity in the epel-testing repo.

I will see if they have a current version of Audacity.

Both epel-testing and -playground are disabled by default so you will need to enable -testing to find audacity at all.

I enabled EPEL-Testing and was able to install Audacity. It was the latest version but was not operating correctly. I removed it and did some more digging. My searches lead me to the Flatpak web site where I was able to install it and several other applications I use at the current version and they are working properly. Thanks for the help!
