CRON TAB BY MISTAKE

Dear Friends,
I caught up in the issue of written the * * * * * shutdown in the crontab. So the system bootsup and shuts down immediately in 1 minute. So please guide me to fix this issue

Boot in single user mode and edit the crontab entry - either in /var/spool/cron/root or in the /etc/cron* file you created it in.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
