Centos 7 security profiles

Guys,

I am trying to find out what the security profiles actually do. When installing centos 7 there a re a few to choose from, if i select one of the profiles (DISA STIG) for example does this apply the lockdowns or is it only for redhat?

also when i try to apply this on the minimal install the option to apply the DISA stig isnt there - am i missing something?
