centos kernel vulnerability

Post by Fcent0ssss » 2020/04/28 07:58:01

OS: CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core)
kernel: 3.10.0-1062.18.1.el7.x86_64
We use nexpose to scan vulnerabilities related to kernels other than centos 7.7, but these vulnerabilities cannot be fixed using official sources. Is there any solution?

CentOS 7.8 came out yesterday so your first step is to run yum update and get up to date. At least some of the CVEs you mention are fixed in that kernel.

First of all, thank you very much for your answer.
Could you please tell me how often the official source of centos 7 is updated?

CentOS is a rebuild of RHEL so when Red Hat release things for RHEL, they are also rebuilt for CentOS.
