If you have trouble connecting to your server via ssh, connect via monitor, su - root and issue the following command:

Code: Select all

firewall-cmd --zone=public --permanent --add-service=ssh
Root is evil: Do not use root (sudo) to run any of the commands specified in my posts unless explicitly indicated. Please, provide the necessary amount of context to understand your problem/question.

Then run the command again without --permanent.

Thanks for all the great suggestions and ideas, but nothing of this helped me further.

I solved this by reïnstalling the server
