Remote access (from WAN) to local files server

Post by x51r » 2014/12/10 18:15:03

Hello,
I want create fileserver (NAS using Synology box) and give access to remote users for send and download files (few MB per files).
I looking from some good solution how do it, I mean how secure it and how setup storage - samba will be OK? What you think?.
At this moment I think about setup samba server and allow access via VPN, but maybe someone of you have some practice or any other idea how setup it?

PS. Sorry if I post on wrong forum.

This is a CentOS 7 forum. You should ask Synology.
