AH ok.
So the Cmd give me this:

Code: Select all

> host router.testing.local
> router.testing.local has address 172.16.16.254
or with a client machine

Code: Select all

> host CLmint.testing.local
> CLmint.testing.local has address 172.16.16.30
And the db.testing.local is finally updating. God...i've spent so much time for such a trivial thing, lol. And my intra website is accessible too, somehow lol. Anyway...

Thanks guys! I'll probably come back for some other issue, lol.

Another question, do we have to set an authentification key (like i did with the rndc.key) on the servers to allow the DHCP server to update the DNS zones ? Or is it just for security purposes ?

The DHCP _server_ needs the key, the clients do not and should not have it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
