VPN or not?

Post by mickey0 » 2021/02/05 16:36:36

Hello,

At the moment I am in a country B and I want to see a TV program in a country A. But I got a message about restrictions. So I can watch it. Is there any way to do this? I read about VPN but not have idea how to set it up and if it is what I need it.

Kind regards.

Don't have much experience with VPN (only the one
provided by my employer), but my general impression
is that you have to pay for access to a VPN provider
and then use a VPN client to log on to it.

Sorry but I do not think we can discuss things like this on this board. I comes too close to condoning illegality.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
