CentOS 7network unavailable

Post by ArthurFsun » 2019/12/06 22:25:50

Dear everyone,

I have been using CentOS 7 and the network is OK with WIFI, until yesterday I tried to switch WIFI to wired connection. I used a cable to connect the network interface to the Network socket on the wall, and made some setting on the "wired" option in the NetworkManager icon at the right corner of the CentOS desktop (I cannot remember what specific settings I made) and found the I cannot connect to the Internet. I restart the computer and found that the NetworkManager at the right corner of the CentOS desktop disappeared! I googled the situation and tried my things but just cannot get the Network Manager back.

Then I reinstalled CentOS 7 but the NetworkManager icon does not appear yet and and both wifi and wired connect do not work.

Now the "nmcli dev status" commands give the follow outputs:
DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION
virbr0 bridge connected virbr0
enp3s0 ethernet unavailable --
enp4s0 ethernet unavailable --
lo loopback unmanaged --
virbr0-nic tun unmanaged --

#service network restart
Control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status network.service and "journal -xe" for details.

Do you know how to fix the problem?

Thank you in advance!

Control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status network.service and "journal -xe" for details.
Have you looked into these to see what the details are?
