Strongly suggest not disabling IPv6 - have seen issues where "things" don't work, even on a IPv4 only network when there is no IPv6 interface (even just a loopback only interface would fix the issue). Push your security concerns into the security layer (i.e.: firewall) - just disable all inbound and/or outbound IPv6. That's where it belongs.
