Does CentOS7 Support i3-10105F?

Post by Nelson_Boss » 2022/09/05 14:32:59

I am using Intel i3-10105F as my servser's cpu. But when I am trying to install CentOS7 on it, the installer does not work correctly. Is CentOS7 not supporting i3-10105F, or it is because of my own problems?

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en ... tions.html says that processor came out in 2021 and CentOS 7.9.2009 dates from Sept 2020 so it's unlikely to have full support or be tested much if at all. Perhaps you should say more about "the installer does not work correctly" and see if it's a problem that is already known.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
