I'm trying to install Centos 7 on a new workstation but get an immediate black screen after selecting either "Install CentOS 7" or "Install CentOS 7 in basic graphics mode". Even the "Test this media" option results in a black screen.
Things I tried so far without any luck:
- launching installer in text mode
- Tried a different build and different USB drive without any luck
- Tried with different monitor in case the default resolution isn't supported
- Tried with monitor connected to both the RTX3090 or the integrated graphics of the Z490-P motherboard
Any help would be much appreciated. Very hard to debug seeing as I don't see any error messages.

Re: immediate black screen when trying to install Centos 7
What was the filename that you downloaded? Did you check its sha256sum against the list published in the release notes to make sure it was correct? If using a USB stick to perform the install, how did you copy the iso file to that stick?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
