Hello,
I have poked around the web a little and through the forums here but can't seem to find anything definitive. Has anybody successfully installed CentOS 7 on a system with a 10th gen Intel CPU and chipset (Comet Lake LGA 1200)? I am thinking about a system with the H410M chipset and an hex core i5, but need to run CentOS 7 on the system and hope that somebody can say they've had success. I'd hate to buy the HW and then find out it won't work.
Thanks
B

Re: CentOS 7 install on 10th gen Intel?
Replying to my own post in case anybody has this question going forward.
I was able to install the latest version of CentOS 7 (v2009) on the 10th gen Intel system without much hiccup. Everything was recognized and installed on a Hex-core i5 on the Gigabyte motherboard with the Intel H410 chipset, except one of the ethernet adapters. For that I had to add the ELRepo repository and install the 1000e driver package. Then all was good in the world for the most part.
