cannot install centos7 on raid5 DL380 gen10

Post by aalmarshad » 2020/02/10 07:52:55

Hi

I am trying to install centos 7 with raid5. After I configured the raid the storage size shows 6.7TB and when I try to install the OS I can see 600 GB only !

what is the possible problem ?

CentOS 7.what?

The only version to use is the latest: 7.7.

Err, aren't we all supposed to believe that there is only CentOS 7, with the latest patch being 1908? ;)

Yes but you would be surprised about the number of people that use e..g vendor doc that states "just install CentOS 7.0" and then do exactly that despite it being over 5 years old and not supporting any hardware released since 2014.
