How to make WNA3100(v1) Wireless-N 300 work

Post by frenchsquared » 2015/03/24 21:39:58

I know I am supposed to post some stuff, but I don't know how.
I'm having enough trouble just changing directories.

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0424:2514 Standard Microsystems Corp. USB 2.0 Hub
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0846:9020 NetGear, Inc. WNA3100(v1) Wireless-N 300 [Broadcom BCM43231]
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0bc2:3000 Seagate RSS LLC
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 05e3:0722 Genesys Logic, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0424:2514 Standard Microsystems Corp. USB 2.0 Hub
Bus 001 Device 008: ID 17ef:602d Lenovo
Bus 001 Device 009: ID 046d:0a0c Logitech, Inc. Clear Chat Comfort USB Headset

The device is there and named, so at least CentOS knows what it is.
I have no clue where to begin to make it work.

Thanks in advanced.

Thanks, the information you posted is exactly what is required.

Unfortunately as far as I'm aware, and I have looked, there is no Linux driver available for this device so it's unsupported. So it's a non-starter I'm afraid.
