Hello,
I am running CentOS 7.7 with KDE. Occasionally a pop-up briefly appears in the lower middle of the desktop. This is a horizontal bar with what looks like an icon of a monitor at one end. At the other end there is a percentage number. Sometimes this number reads 0%, 25% or 50%. It looks like it is showing a zoom level, or brightness level, or something like that. The pop-up is only there for about a second so I am not able to get a screen capture. I am sorry if I'm not describing this perfectly but I only have memory to go on.
I have tried a right click on the desktop to see if there is anything on the menu that looks like it would bring up such a thing and have found nothing. A search on this also doesn't provide any information but it is hard to search when you don't know what something is called.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour or does anyone at lest recognize the pop-up and know its intended use?
Thanks,
LMHmedchem

Haven't seen it, but if it's a bug, then an upgrade to 7.9 may solve it.
Edit: An upgrade may be a good idea anyway, 7.7 is quite old.

Sorry, I am running CentOS 7.9.
Code: Select all
[user@localhost ~]$ cat /etc/centos-release
