Hi, I tried to search but I can't to find any relevant information on this so please forgive me if it has been asked before.
I am confused with all the license and openjdk that has been going on. Like what is the jdk or jre that centOS 7 uses? is it follows redhat rhel? Does it mean I can use it for production and commercial use? Does it follow the following support stated at https://access.redhat.com/articles/1299013 ?
Can I/recommended to install a openJDK of my own like adoptopenjdk?
I am really confuse about all the changes and licensing, would appreciate for any help or explanation! Thanks in advance!
CentOS 7 openjdk
Re: CentOS 7 openjdk
As far as I know, restrictions only apply to the Oracle JDK not to OpenJDK which, as its name suggests, is open.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
