I'd still be fairly sure that this issue is yours and within your network or the connection to outside. Most likely a web proxy getting in the way.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Thanks for your answer.

Could you tell me which ports or services should be open so that yum can reach the centos mirror.list to check with the network people the communication with the outside?

I know we must have open the port 80 and 22 i dont know if we need open another ports ?

I have disabled the iptables and firewall in the server centos 7.7

Hi Everybody.

I know my Centos 7.7 is deprecated out-of-date i dont know if this is the problem that dont let me update the system.

I Installed a fresh new centos 7.7 in another vm and this let me update my system 7.7 and upgrade to centos 7.9 without a problem.

On my system with the issue i did the some tests like ping wget curl and some respond me OK

For all your curl tests, the url needs to be in quotes because it takes all the & characters as delimiters and backgrounds the "command".
