I run an updated CentOS7 system and tried to install WhatsApp compatible linux clients to connect to WhatsApp Web on my phone.
I have used two different applications, "WhatsDesk" and "WALC" via snap and both install without any problems following the steps, as root or via sudo, outlined for instance in https://snapcraft.io/install/walc/centos for "WALC".
They also run perfectly as user the first time after installation, using the application icon in the CentOS Application Meny.
When I close the application after this first run, I cannot run it again as user, neither via the icon nor using the command in a terminal window.
Only way to get it started is the start is to run the following command as sudo:
Code: Select all
$ sudo /var/lib/snapd/snap/bin/whatsdesk
Apparently some issues with permissions when run as user a second time.
Any clues as to where I should look to solve this?
Any feedback is appreciated!
