FILE TRANSFER AND SHARING PLATFORM

Hi everyone.

I am looking for an application allowing users to share a directory in temporary ways for file exchanges between our organization and our "customers".
Temporarily we are using SFTP with account / passsord to allow clients to authenticate and upload files.
But our employees have to give the credentials of several generic accounts ...

I would like to find an application that would allow our user to send to our "client" an email with an ephemeral link for the file repository. This link and its directory would only be available for a few days without autentification.

I know of a product that runs on Windows Server (EFT Globalscape) that offers this service. I am looking for a comparable service under Centos.

Tx

Why not just use sftp like you are now but issue an ssh public/private key pair for each user. Send the private key to the customer, install the public key on your server and remove it when their access is meant to end.

Owncloud/Nextcloud allow you to create such upload folders. The link you send can be with or without password protection and you can also set a date after which the link expires.
