Hello
since the nux repo went dark last year I decided to use the epel-multimedia repo and all was fine, till yesterday, update throws up a load of conflicts, is epel-multimedia repo a legit repo or should I go for rpmfusion ?
As most (if not all) epel-multimedia packages are newer (than rpmfusion) could I use the yum downgrade --enablerepo=rpmfusion* --disablerepo=epel-multimedia option to make the switch ?
Anyone else here use the epel-multimedia repo ?

Did you want this in the CentOS-7 category? Isn't Nux still available for CentOS-7?
I've no experience of the epel-multimedia, I'm afraid. I've been using rpmfusion though I wound up building ffmpeg from source.

When I said "went dark" I meant that the maintainer has stopped updates and new packages and as you've found, ffmpeg in nux and rpmfusion are way out of date.
BTW a totally up to date static build is available here https://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/
