How to install an exFAT USB drive
Re: How to install an exFAT USB drive
exFAT support from nux-dextop seems to work well for me and it uses fuse. Since it's the only filesystem shared between linux and Windows (apart from the more restricted fat/vfat which have size limits), exFAT support seems like a reasonable way to go.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

What is the command to install nux-dextop?
Re: How to install an exFAT USB drive
You'll need to google for it then find his nux-release rpm and install that which will give you access to the rest of the contents.

Re: How to install an exFAT USB drive
Thanks to your help and patience, I now have the usb drive mounted! However, do to not having a full awareness of naming customs, possiblely should mount it to a different place.
I created /usb and mounted it as
mount /dev/sdb1 /usb/
Would the rsync command be
rsync -av --delete /var/www/html/ /usb/html
Suggestion welcomed...
