I find the xdvik on centos 7 to be annoyingly slow (it render almost line by line when i visit new page).
This results in a one second or two or three to display to whole page. Luckly the system responds immediately when i hit
enter to visit the next page. If not I cannot navigate the 200+ page files generated from latex.
However on centos 6,
the rendering is instantaneous. xdvi --version
xdvik version 22.84.14 (Xaw toolkit)
Libraries: kpathsea version 3.5.6, T1lib version 5.1.2 (i just boot to centos 6 hence I capture this).
i am wondering this is the problem due to the graphic driver or the xdvik version.
