Disable Nouveau Driver

hey, i want to install nvidia optimus driver as i have to use cuda platform in centos7. But it always shows an error "noveau driver is still running", though i have blacklisted nouveau in /etc/default/grub.conf and /etc/modeprobe.d/blacklist.conf....still it shows the same error. please its really urgent for me to use cuda, if anyone can help it will be really greatful

The generally recommended way of installing nvidia's drivers is using the repacked ones from elrepo. They will take care of all this and also survive kernel updates. If you want to use cuda you should install that stuff from their run package, but excluding the driver therein. Using nvidia's rpm package for cuda is not recommended.

And setting up optimus is still tricky stuff anyway. If/how cuda will work with it, I don't know.
