Uname -a
Linux vpsxxxx7.ovh.net 2.6.32-042stab093.5 #1 SMP Wed Sep 10 17:39:49 MSK 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Yep, Checked Secure, Dmsg , Messages ... Nowt. Nothing. Nada..

I have removed Akismet from the wordpress install as that was its last query before dying.. So lets see if that fixes it...
So far so good. Been 24+ hours and no failure. However, I am sure its coming.. Just a matter of time..

Thanks for your support so far guys..

Stand by for more info..
I have enabled as much debugging as possible everywhere so logs are filling up everywhere now.. See if we can catch it.

You are not running CentOS.
That is an old OpenVZ kernel.
CentOS 7 runs on a 3.10 kernel.

[xxxxt@mail ~]$ uname -a
Linux xxxxxxxxxxx.com 3.10.0-123.8.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Sep 22 19:06:58 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

If it is the wordpress plugin "akismet" then that's really, really bad and if it's open source, I suggest you provide feedback to the project!

Please don't thread bump threads from 7 years ago. Locked.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
