Where is nagios in Centos7

Post by maxxxxu » 2014/07/24 08:47:14

Hello.
I used Centos 5 and 6 as a server distribution in both branches were nagios packages, recently released Centos 7 and I installed it on test server and noticed that there is no package nagios, what happened to nagios and what monitoring tools are in Centos 7?

Nagios has never been part of CentOS and has always been in third party repos like EPEL or rpmforge. In el6 it is in EPEL and it is the same in el7.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
