Some time back, seemingly without me changing anything, but perhaps due to an update, whenever I did a Subversion command that required a password, it started opening a GUI window (pinentry-gtk, I think) to prompt for the password. Note that this is when using ssh connections with X forwarding.

However, following a reboot of the machine I am connected to via ssh, the password prompts no longer appear in a pinentry-gtk window, instead, the password prompts appear in the terminal and there is no persistence to the password.

What do I need to do to get the pinentry-gtk password prompts back?
