ROOT PASSWORD FORGOT

DEAR MATE's
I've forgotten the root password; I've reset the password. i have got the mgs All parameter tokens changed successfully, after passwd reset also I'm getting incorrect passwd help to resolve this problem.

Either create a file called /.autorelabel and reboot - touch /.autorelabel && reboot or edit the kernel command line from the grub prompt and append enforcing=0 and continue with the boot. Once booted using the 2nd method, use restorecon -RFv /etc/{passwd,shadow}
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
