Post by being1980 » 2022/10/26 14:52:36

I have few domains under godaddy account?
I want to set up my own email server using for these domain under cloud server.
Is it just rent a cloud server like azure, aws with centos, set up a smtp software and set the mx record in godaddy dns server?

You may find that other providers such as Linode, DigitalOcean, etc. will rent you a server for less money.

I'd also say... it's hard work running an email service and keeping it secure. Think twice about doing it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
