How to trasfer a folder from /data to windows

Post by being1980 » 2022/10/20 08:27:06

Hello

I pick up a webserver from others, and this is the first to use Centos, I would like to rebulid the web in other server. But I need to backup the file firstly.
I studied the file in the Centos. I guest the web application should be placed in /data. But I can't transfer the folder to my windows via PSFTP. As it seems to support transfer file.

Never used PSFTP, you could see if WinSCP or FileZilla works.
Also check that the user have access to /data.

Thank Tunk,

It is work, but I am not sure which folder is running for the website. As there are many project folder in this server.
The original website is still running.
Is it any method to monitor the port, staus of the applcation.
thank you

I would advise caution as you may find that the website you want to move is not portable or just will not run on say Windows.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
