We have a number of VNC sessions for the same user, all with the same home directory (on a NFS server). The sessions use the default gnome-classic desktop. These VNC sessions are used for automated GUI testing.
The notification that pops up when a new program opens on the desktop is interfering with the test automation. Is there some way to turn it off?
I have tried using "Setting" from the "System Tools" menu, but all that happens is I see "Settings" and spinner in the top panel, but this just goes away after a second or two. How can I access the setting to turn off the notifications? Is there another way to access the settings?
