I'm trying to determine between CentOS 6.10 and CentOS 7.9 when/etc/pam.d/login was changed between the release versions of CentOS. I'm hoping to avoid installing 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 etc. to check each one.
I have have pulled https://vault.centos.org/6.10/os/Source/SPackages/ the pam package https://vault.centos.org/6.10/os/Source ... l6.src.rpm and looked in the source but I can't find the specific /etc/pam.d/login file but only see pam.conf. I assume the changes in /etc/pam.d/login are distro specific changes but I'm not sure where to look in the build process.
determine when /etc/pam.d/login changed
