I work in a strictly offline environment, but I can download from repositories and install packages from home. What I am trying to achieve is to dump the repository files onto an external hard drive then use that as a local repository to update offline (internal network) Linux machines (primarily Red Hat). I have searched the internet for the proper syntax and proper local.repo creation which will allow this to work. Any assistance would be appreciated.
I am somewhat new to the Linux world...be gentle...
