Missing packages from CentOS 7 repositories

Post by Oliver Jones » 2021/06/07 16:43:29

Hi,

I run a reposync server, and I've noticed a continual problem with the flatpak packages. When running reposync, I always get errors like this:

Code: Select all

flatpak-builder-1.0.0-10.el7_9.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
flatpak-devel-1.0.9-10.el7_9.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
flatpak-libs-1.0.9-10.el7_9.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
flatpak-1.0.9-10.el7_9.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
flatpak-1.0.9-10.el7_9.src: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
Please can you remove these packages from the repo if the files themselves are no longer included? Some of us run automation tasks, and this sort of error is quite difficult to handle with automation, because it represents quite a serious problem.

Those are all current packages and exist in the repos. Are you sure the problem is not on your side? I get messages like that from my mirroring as I re-sign some of the packages that I reposync with our company key and reposync will not overwrite the existing but re-signed package. I get exactly the same error code as you do.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
