But when users increase it becomes very slow. Do you have any advice?

Start by looking at your VPS, trying to identify possible bottlenecks:

- CPU constraints
- Network constraints
- Disk I/O contraints
- Which processes are involved? Web -server (Apache httpd or nginx). Script interpreter like php? Database server?
