CentOS7 version compatibility

Post by twilight » 2021/04/06 06:09:45

I had installed http://centos.mirror.digitalpacific.com ... D-1908.iso but it is not available now.
Hence, would be switching to
http://centos.mirror.digitalpacific.com ... D-2009.iso

Will my application be compatible to the new version?

If you run yum update on a regular basis - which you should in order to keep your server safe and secure - then you're already running the newer version. If you're not then you should be.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
