Where/How to report stale mirror content?

Post by mason » 2020/07/29 21:07:02

Hello,

Sorry for cross posting. I tried posting this on the social forum, but didn't get a response.

Where should I report issues with stale mirror content? I'm seeing issues with stale content from mirrors that are listed as being up to date at https://mirror-status.centos.org/

For example the repomd.xml file at http://mirror.it.ubc.ca/centos/7/update ... /repodata/ has not been updated since June 25, but the current file on other mirrors was updated July 16. This is not the only mirror with this problem.

Thanks

I believe there is a centos-mirror mailing list or failing that, use the main centos@centos.org mailing list
CentOS 6 will die in November 2020 - migrate sooner rather than later!
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 is dead, do not use it.

Thanks @TrevorH, I saw those mailing lists, but it looked like they were for mirror operators only. I'll try signing up there anyway and see if anyone can help.
