mouse pointer is stuck during virtualbox running

Post by hopefulp » 2020/07/15 04:16:55

Now I have installed newest software updates as it is informed by the system.
After reboot, it shows some kernel need to be regenerated manually by dracut -f --kver $kernel_version. So I did it, but the latest kernel looks already installed.
So the present kernel is 3.10.0-1127.13.1.el7.x86_64 of CentOS 7.
During the system upgrade, virtualbox is upgraded to 6.0.24 from 6.0.22 together and I have installed VM extension package also.
Somewhere I read "yum update" is required.

I did it and reboot. But still mouse is stuck during VM guest - Windows 10 is running. It is just about 2 ~ 3 second after VM guest starts to run.
Mouse is stuck in a posion in linux and in VM panel a mouse pointer is detected though it is invisible.

How can I fix this problem?

Thank you for your time.

Regards,

Joonho

Sorry, I got the solution.

It might be a known problem. It happened when usb device was installed in virtualbox and there appears usb of mouse (Logitech Reciever) in tab-Devices and if it was checked.

So, there is no problem now.

Centos is very stable for long time for me.
