rsynch doesn't work either

There is no "doesn't work" in computers. There are error messages that you should show verbatim.
(Admittedly, some error messages are hard to find.)

Do all machines have package rsync installed? (It is not in group Core.)

If you run which scp, does it return a location for the command? If not, you might not have it in your path.
