So it's FakeRAID? Oh, bad luck. No idea what to suggest but if that was mine, I'd blow the whole thing away and rebuild it without FakeRAID in the way.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

It's not a fake raid, it's a mirror bios pc raid 1, it's not a server machine, it's a INTEL I5 PC .Raid was created with the CTRL + I key.
I still have a question, if I do the new install centos 7 can everything be restored by backup?
