PVDISPLAY & gnome disk utility size of disk not same, even though UUID is the same?

Can someone explain why these two views of the same partition does not match in size?

GiB is not the same as GB. GB = 1000 x 1000 x 1000. GiB = 1024 x 1024 x 1024.

Your 26843545600 byte "disk" is actually 25GiB (26843545600/1024/1024/1024). Since that's the size of the entire disk and the default size for /boot is 1GiB, your LVM PV is 25GiB - 1GiB = 24GiB.
CentOS 6 will die in November 2020 - migrate sooner rather than later!
