can't change default keyring password

Post by neuronetv » 2018/12/26 18:47:51

I'm trying to change the default keyring password in centos 7 gnome gui but it keeps asking me to enter the original password. I've never actually set this password in the first place. I have root access via a console so is there a way to correct this problem with a command?

Default keyring files are in /home/user/.local/share/keyrings/.
You can rename this files as xxx.orig.

thankyou for that, there are three files in /home/user/.local/share/keyrings/:
default
Default_keyring.keyring
user.keystore

do I rename all three?
