KDE desktop

I installed the KDE desktop manager but when i login and click on the setting tab I still only see gnome, gnome classic and other. How do I get KDE to be a choice?

You did install package kde-workspace?

My guess is that /usr/share/xsessions/*.desktop are what are shown on the menu.
Therefore, to see what could be installed:

yum provides /usr/share/xsessions/\*.desktop

You did install package kde-workspace?

I did yum install -y kwin shouldn't that take kde-workspace if its a dependency?

ok removed kde and did a yum group install and that worked.
