I can no more find Windows 7 in bios after installing CentOS

Post by imbsc » 2014/07/19 15:46:34

Hey,

I am new to linux. I wanted to install CentOS 7 in dual boot environment along with Windows 7 which is already there on my laptop.
These are the steps that I followed
<1> Shrinked my 320 GB hard drive and created 100GB of un-partitioned space for CentOS.
<2> Followed the steps in CentOS DVD and installed the gnome version on the available 100GB free space.
<3> Restarted after the system to find CentOS in the bios but could no more find windows.

I have checked the Places tab on CentOS and could find the windows partition. But when I restart the system I no more find windows option to login into my windows 7 which was working totally fine until I installed CentOS.

I wish to know how can I get back to windows. I wish to have both the OS on my laptop.

Please let me know the detailed steps how to do this as I am new to CentOS and linux.
