Post by siddhesh » 2014/07/11 06:23:05

Hi ,

While trying to start KVM vm on centos 7 i get the below error
error: Cannot check QEMU binary /usr/libexec/qemu-kvm: No such file or directory
<devices>
<emulator>/usr/libexec/qemu-kvm</emulator>
Below line in libvirt file is causing the issue on centos 7 but work perfectly on centos 6.5 .

release details
CentOS Linux release 7.0.1406 (Core)
Libvirt info
libvirt-1.1.1-29.el7.x86_64
Please guide me how can i fix it .
It seems the emulator path is been changed in centos 7 or i am missing some thing .

Please help me to fix it ASAP .

/usr/libexec/qemu-kvm is included in the qemu-kvm package. Do you have that installed?
