Hello,
after a "yum update" Centos 7 does not boot, it looks like a grub issue?
When it boots it's 'stuck' in the grub boot menu (I see all kernels) but if I select any kernel, I get a message saying "can't find command 'load_video'"
(also I see the "can't find command ..." message appear several times, but it flashes by fast, when I attempt a restart of the machine)
any ideas ?
thanks,
Ron

Re: Centos 7 not booting after update
Ok,
I mounted the OS drive on a rescue kernel, booting from a USB (no kernel in grub seems to boot)
I checked /boot/grub and /boot/grub2. /boot/grub2 has a grub.cfg, but it is empty. /boot/grub has no grub.cfg
So I guess that's not right

I used the grub2 mkconfig tool to re-populate the grub.cfg file. the link for the config file was already was already in /etc
it booted, no other issues. I guess the 'yum update' messed up the grub.cfg
